I jus happened to notice, that the big field in the middle of my estate's carpark is undergoing construction.
It seems, tht the town council has decided, upon its 'better judgement' that a street soccer enclosure and an enlargement of the parking area is more important than having a soothing vast patch of nature.
Goodbye lush yonder; Goodbye to lil children frolicking carefreely, elderly matches of cricket and even loud, foul-swearing football matches between foreign workers.
And they call Singapore a 'Garden City'.
Really, go figure.
