Listening to: Hollaback Girl by Gwen Stefani
What a year 2005 has been. I dun really know where to start about the things, events, changes and experiences I've been thru. I think most ppl have crammed their last entry for the year, whereas I was prolly slacking my ass off, thinking where to celebrate the countdown.
Not tht I'm one to follow trends tho. Something along the lines of less messy (No thanks to fanatical faux snow sprays and party ribbons, not to mention drunk ppl in general), and more fun (think light booze, groovy music and crazy dance moves.)
Sadly, the gang was not complete. Ling vacationing in KL and Claire aka fellow huckle-berrier was snugly playing mahjong somewhere in Mandarin Hotel. But glad to say...we still had a helluva fun in the dying hours of the old year^^
Met up with Mena, Sherry, Tessalyn, Tiba (Mena's sis), Giva, Sharini, and the boyfren at Orchard about 7-ish. Trooped down to Yoshinoya (I know, not really choice place for glamourous dinner) whereby my two darlings revealed my surprises:
1. Mena
REBONDED her hair!! Ok, before you guys say what the big deal is, HAVE you seen her hair? Its beyond maggie-mee curly, or Shirley Temple sorta curly! Unruly and uninhibited, like the epitome of 'flaming passion'. I reckon the rebonding machine must have broken after the session was done. :P:P
*Ok lah, da. Jus joking! you know how much I dig it by the amount of ogling I gave u yesterday. lol!
2. Justin didn't forget my Anniversary and Christmas afterall! The amazing necklace from Fie Japan that I always wanted had blown me away, but then came the
engraved ring. OMG, I think its the most beautiful thing I've recieved this year. I think I would have teared in front of everyone but I guess the
fear of runny mascara was more intimidating. Thanks darhling..love you. :)
In the end, it was Cheeky Monkeys due to my underaged other, and thankfully frens were moe than understanding. I think they cleaned it up a lil, there was lesser smoke and erm, puke. But noticeably more police on the patrol.
There was even a Temporary Police Post stationed right in front of CM?! *cringes in guilt* Music was blessfully RnB all night thru, and boy do I worship the DJ. ^^ He's like Ruben Studdard, local. Everyone was looking hot and feeling it (literally) as we busted our voices yelling the countdown...
And thts how we rocked the whole nite thru the last of two-o-o-five. Farewell.

A few high-points of this 365 days. Definitely the most lifechanging year under my notch of 18. I have:
- a cute boyfren. Thank god, spinster-in-making no more. Still in progress. :P
- great frens for life. Mena Claire Fran Ling Chris Sherry...love y'all!
- the best birthday ever, and that's definitely a first.
- spent more $$$ than I ever did before in my last few living years. Go powercard!!
-clubbed more than before. Yesh, noob here...but not anymore. *grins*
- learnt to love myself and dare to be loud, individualistic, different...me.
damn, why does this sound like some friggin award-acceptance speech?!
