Listening to: 100 years by Five for Fighting

I honestly wonder if I was given 100 years, would it be enough to rectify the pains and disappointments I had caused to people, and salvage the shadows of regrets in my past. A few days ago, I came home worn to the bone (to be expected, if you had been traveling all over the small island tht is Singapore), when a very saddening revelation surfaced to me. It pretty much spelled the end of a friendship I held dear, along with the cherished memories culminated throughout the year.
I guess thts to be expected in life. Its a rite of passage tht we all go through, and there's no way to please everyone. Bad blood still persists even if you try your best to steer clear from it; and malicious gossiping continues to seek your undesired company. Yet, it still saddens me whenever it happens. Life, a callous reality.

But... Thank you. To those who had stood by me when I was at my wretched lowest, listened to my pain and whinings, tolerated my craziness and took all of me. I love you guys, 'Miss She-Devil', 'Miss Huckleberry', 'Miss Cyanide'...and all the rest of whom you know who you are. A grateful hug and smile for making a bad day seem not so bad after all.

~~~
Met up with my fren Marsewi, who just came back from Australia for a visit. She looked radiant and pretty as ever, and I'm glad to see so. I even have spastic Neoprints to prove it. (Argh, but I curse the next person who bugs me to take cutesy-wutesy Japanese cartoons/animation-infused photos ever again. I look like a BLOODY moron in every shot, argh!)
By the way, I saw this really GORGEOUS fake Dior green shades for only $6.90!! I know, wth green?! But it was seriously hot, and the only thing that restrained me was the clubbing night with the babes on the 10th.
Why must I be so. Broke. (moth flies out of tattered wallet.) Sigh.
My feet, I swear, were about to die on me by the time I reached home. Whatever possessed me to wear cute shoes over comfy ones for a long day of trekking about, is waaayyy beyond me.
Blisters and sores galore; and I so deserve it. Ended the day with a pretty decent grilled chicken meal at the Bugis Cafe @ the Upstairs. Only $6.95 for a set meal; complete with the main course, soup and soft drink. :) If you ever pass by, do pop in to try. Its quite value for $$$.
PS: Dan, thanks for pain-stakingly sending me the 30-odd songs. I feel so bad! If we ever meet, drinks are on me. ;)
