Considering how I'm still not tht well at the moment, it must have been by some miraculous fluke tht my already inflamed throat has survived our 3hr Kbox session (which was incredulously cheap, $6 per head). It was Cantonese, Chinese, English and even Jap songs galore. Oh I do the things I do.

And its times like these I'm really jealous of em' bloggers, the likes of Xiaxue and Dawn. For one, defend as they might, they earn a significant more than the average teen. They get endorsements just at the click of a perfectly-manicured finger, and every posted photo flaunts a great time spent; be at clubbing, holidaying at some fantastic country, or canoodling up to the next hottie. And here I am slogging away to get a part-time job tht pays decent at least.
Sigh...
Even so, their writing style isn't really tht unique and all that witty. Xiaxue; despite being named as the Blogger of the Year(and trust me, not a day goes by with her harping on about it), her works are mostly consisting of bitching about the day's happenings and a fair amount of hokkien-scatological infused cussing. I do enjoy reading her parodizing of people and her personal experiences tho. (read the one about measuring penises, good for a laugh). :) Dawn's style; well if there was any, in the first place, is pretty much average, with an occasional refreshing perspective. Still, who am I to critique if I can do as well?
If you ask me, I think good and edgy writing should be of the essence. It can enrapture and enthrall the reader, and it doesn't make the reader feel like he wasted few precious minutes of his life reading crap.I would recommend reads by Ping, Fran and Jaslyn. Each has a distinguishing way of writing, and never a dull entry. Not trying to be modest or anything, but I'm seriously nowhere near the same league as them. But I'm passionate about the written and spoken word, so I shall plough forth for improvement. =)
