Listening to: Rakkou from the Juuni Kokki OST
Bloody crap of a machine that is my fucked up computer!!!! This entry is actually done quite a few days back, and thanks to the damn thing, I only managed to post it up now.Well, am feeling pretty swell for a number of reasons, and I shall try to piece what I wanna say in coherent sentences instead of rambling senselessly like a sub-machine gun. :PPP
The results for the Marketing and Economics are finally out, via mail. I was pretty touchy about this as I didn't quite put in as much effort in it as I was supposed to, so my fingers were crossed. Apparently, my mother intercepted it as she came back earlier and even smsed my grades through SMS. Not that I'm very strong for personal privacy, but I wished she didn't do that and I could have the satisfaction of ripping the surprise(or shocker) myself. But yeah, still cool bout it. :)
I got an
A for Econs and
B for Marketing, big
YEAH!!! It was better than expected. Though I thought it would be the other since Econs is mathematical and I'd never thought I could do good in a subject thats related to that, however remote.
Justin treated a handful of us to The Big 'O' Cafe today, and it was a pretty nice experience seeing how I've never been there before. Got to know a new fren Hannah, through Dira (Winson and Justin's ex-classmate), and they're both from Laselle. I flipped through some of Hannah's drawings and they are so gorgeous. FYI: you can view some of her works at
www.aramaki.deviantart.com. It was so fun to hang out with people who love anime, manga, cosplay as much as I do~~
And I come to the part about today's lessons. You know, at a first glance of the module "Techniques of Professional Speaking and Writing", it doesn't inspire much enthusiasm. Well, I'm dead wrong! The lesson was surprising enjoyable and quirky! Mr Nabui was a sight for sore eyes, and he had the whole dry sardonical humour going on. He kept us laughing and snickering as the lesson progressed thru, even when we came across bombastic terms like Orthoepy, Morphology and Supra-segmentals, I wasn't the least bit daunted. Plus, Fran and I have this on-going inside joke, something bout chest *winks*
And he also had funky-dory hairstyle, like wolverine from X-men. Hehe...but no, thou shalt not hit on my lecturer. 2 down, 2 more lecturers to go!
