Listening to: Blah!
Argh...that's me articulating in my slug persona. Haha, super shagged after a long day and I still have to get up at 7am today to go to work. Ah well, if you want some, you have to work for it, so what the hell. Went to the Esplanade today to see my sister perform her dance act, and boy was she swell. I mean, ask around and you'll know that I'm not usually the type that gives compliments to her sibling just like that. But I was pleasanrly surprised when she actually executed her mordern dance moves with an astonishing amount of grace and accuracy. As much as I hate to say it, I might be proud of her after all...Overall, it was a great show until that lil twerp accidentally crashed into a instrument stand when nearing the end.
Hahaha....guess you can't really have your cake and eat it after all.
Since sis (with fellow dancers) and I (with Mum) wher leaving at different timings, we decided to walk around when we chanced upon this cool, zen tatami mat shop. Mum considered changing my single bed into a totally gorgeous plum-red tatami bed, and I was like so for it.... that is until we gawked at the price. *hey Justin, you said you wanted to buy my sis rite? You look like good person, I give you best price, $545?* LMAO
After that, we strolled a little further and saw this really cool tea cafe called 'The V tearoom" and I was on the verge of hyperventilating when I saw the selection of teas they had there!!!! AHHH! I have just found my santuary, there is a GOD. Mum even bought a box of their in-house cookies, white almond flavour. They have other flavours such as Lavender, Chocolatechip and even a Magdeliene Rose one. NOt bad at all, you guys should really try some one day, though I have to warn you that it is not cheap.
Anyhow, all good things have to come to an end. We checked into ThaiExpress for dinner, and let me tell you, it was the dinner experience from hell. I ordered pineapple rice, and the calamari was unfresh and bad (or so my mum tells me,I dun eat calamari), the prawn was half-cooked (EWW!), the spicy kangkong tasted different and one of the waiteress really should go take a damn hike. She is so not getting my vote for employee of the month. People, you have been warned.
My sacrifice for sleep shall end here...and this entry has taken long enough to write. Ack~~
