Listening to: the wonderous silence

Ever wondered how a stuck-up socialite would look like if she was hunted by a pyschotic murderer who has a knack for wax? (and I dun mean the kinky kind.) Yup, just returned home from watching House of Wax with Fran, Ping and Weiming. Which of course was a pretty good call since it's better to let your mind feed on gory b-grade scenes instead on dwelling on forever about how I have literally screwed up my Marketing Management test. So yeah.

Anyhow, it was a pretty mediocre film, though some of the moments were like really morbid-hilarious. Like when Wade got cast into wax, and this guy Dilton was like trying to peel it off him. Ah...bad move, dude. Cos he ended up also yanking the poor guy's face too, flesh and all. Lolx, God knows what must have been going through his brain at that moment. Most probably not a 'thank you', I presume.

Small moments of happiness for moi: Yeah...Justin just passed me the Samurai Champloo anime which I have been dying to watch! Also gotten The Last Samurai from Dad, and Love me if you dare from Ping. Ok, haven't the chance to watch the former; but the latter. Probably the most innovative and most touching love story I had ever seen. It was something like a warped and wacky version of Romeo and Juliet; if they were like ever crazy enough to attempt those dares in the movie. The ending was mind-blowing...I used up half a box of freshly opened Kleenex. How I nearly brawled my eyes out...lol. Most definitely would recommend this to anyone who fancies a unique romance film to watch on a boring afternoon; or actually anytime at all. :)

Thus I shall end my painfully thrilling report on the latest shows I've watched, and scavage thru the dark lair that is my kitchen in search for substenance. Ha. Now hows that for entertainment?
