Listening: Some monolouge going on some tacky Hong Kong serial


On somedays, things just hit you in the face. Today was one perfect example.

This morning, I came to school fully intending to really get into my Marketing Manangement lesson. Huh, didn't even manage to get into the class when Winson pulled me aside to show me something. "Your chance to be a hero," as I quote him. The whole fiasco; it turned out to be this stray cat that had its right leg broken. It was dragging itself frantically through the open road, and for some strange reason, kept trying to hide under a moving taxi. Man, that cat was suicidal. Anyhow, I totally missed the first half of class. (Not that it was a heartbreaking loss,hoho) Luckily, the SPCA picked it up in due time, so i jus hope everything's ok for it. :)

After class,Weiming, Fran, Ping, Justin, Winson, Pamela and I headed to Takashimaya for lunch. We actually saw the Singapore Idol reject, Jessea Thydior (hope I got the name rite.) She looked quite pretty, though less 'polished' as I might have expected her to be. I think that's the downside of being a celebrity; you're like always expected to look good 24/7. I was so spastic and kept missing her when she walked passed my table on two counts. Lolx...the whole gang had to keep yelling and signalling me to catch a glimpse at her. ah wat the heck...

After that, we went to Orchard library to revise for our upcoming MM test. Sigh, once again, it was a failure. Firstly, we were suddenly being overwhelmed by random bouts of narcissism. We kept taking pictures, likea bunch of rabid tourists. Secondly, there was that Malay actor from the sitcom Police and Thief. Man, he is as hilarious as his persona in the comedies he stars in. :) I even managed to take a pic with him, yeah! hmm...two star-sightings in a day, not bad.

This is a pretty chillin' day overall, i guess. Gonna have me dinner now.....
